Usually Traveling - Should Providers Process Improvements As a result of Misconnects or Close the Entranceway?

On Saturday I flew from Bay Area to Washington Dulles on United and observed what could be classified as a lazy and enthusiastic entrance adviser at the aircraft home. Sluggish since she wasnat likely to complete both empty seats in high grade with passengers on the number, but motivated to have our late trip out saying there have been passengers with contacts in Dulles. For a couple weekends, San Francisco Bay Area Airport Terminal is down seriously to one birth runway, because of design, causing some flow get a handle on delays. As such, passengers missing their associations is more likely. And in my opinion my trip was an instance in point. When I boarded, the first class cabin was reserved and checked-in full a' I was #4 on the upgrade number. No opportunity, actually, and I didnat care that much since Iave been going through my update dread lately. But I still prefer to see how everything plays out and when the agent came onboard with the paperwork prepared to shut the door, hereas how the journey looked: I was in 10D and the guy ahead of me in 9D called out to the agent willing to close the door asking about further upgrades. (I bet he was also taking a look at his mobile software). The agent said, alet me go through the lista and turned around to her friend. Seconds later, she explained, aYes, you definitelya just take any available seat.a He got up and moved up front. The agent then told the flight attendant, aIam ending the door!a And she did. Following the jetway pulled and the flight attendant equipped the door, she went at the start, grabbed the manifest from the purser and headed back once again to another individual in 20C. He was quickly escorted up to the past remaining seat in top class and later in the journey came back to bring his things forward. Sunday morning I looked over the journey again and discovered #1 and number 2 on the record revealed removed, although I have no idea should they were indeed the 2 passengers moved forward. They probably were. Today hereas what I wonder. If Mr. 9D didnat issue the gate agent, I guess these two top class seats would have flown bare. I undoubtedly respect the gate agent for seeking to have the flight out as you possibly can to defend the network contacts as rapidly, but shouldnat additionally they take the few seconds (it wouldnat take higher than a moment, might it?) to fill these empty seats? I said earlier in the day that I didnat really value missing the upgrade. But had I been # 1 or 2 and saw after landing that I showed cleared and still flew in instructor, Iad be a little pissed. Wouldnat you? Finally, thanks to the flight attendant who did actually go upon himself to complete the past remaining seat in high grade with Mr. 20C. I donat think the gate agent had anything related to that.
